And, appropriate snacks between <br />healthy meals play an important role in meeting those energy needs. <br />! <br />But do you ever wonder what your kids are snacking on when they are <br />�! <br />away from home? That's why we are proud to announce the introduction of Fit PickTM - <br />a vending program that identifies products which meet nutritional criteria <br />based on the 2005 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the <br />recommendations of the American Heart Association. <br />Starting this week, vending machines at (Insert name of school /district) will <br />feature Fit PickTM items such as baked chips, fruit bars, pretzels, nuts and <br />trail mix, jerky, dried fruit, pop tarts, granola bars, and others. These items <br />can be identified by colorful Fit PickTM stickers and are placed in the right <br />hand columns of the machine. So, tell your student to "Look on the Right <br />Side," then Grab.
