• The RFP asks for Healthy Only. Must the healthy be available or must healthy items <br />be the only types of items available in the machines? <br />Only healthy items can be available. Examples of healthy items are included in the <br />Attachment to the RFP. <br />• Will the city consider proposals that include a proportionate split, like a 50/50 <br />healthy /non - healthy? <br />The City is requesting a 100% healthy items. <br />• With a wording such as "Healthy Organic Items must be available "? <br />Question not understood <br />• Will the concessions (such as the one located at Pelican Community park) be <br />allowed to sell non - healthy and non - organic products? <br />Currently, the concession is not operating. <br />• Fresh Vending Concept of healthy organic is not what the industrywide defines as <br />healthy, their franchise sales pitch is about Organic, and even then many of their <br />products are not organic. Can you define Healthy Organic and provide a set of <br />guidelines? <br />Although specific guidelines are not provided, examples of acceptable healthy <br />items are included in the Attachment to the RFP. <br />• The RFP mentions that the Price must remain fix. Does this mean that no price <br />increase may occur at any point throughout the 5 year period if awarded? Or that <br />price increases may only occur on renewals? <br />If you referring to Section 2.0 paragraph 2.5, the reference made to price in this <br />section is only referring to your proposal to the City (i.e. Commission percentage, <br />Flat fee or sponsorship etc). Pricing within regards to vending item may be changed <br />throughout the life of the contract with prior approval from the City. <br />• We could not find the evaluation criteria and the weight of each criteria, could you <br />point us out to where can we find this? <br />The City does not use a weight criteria or point system in the evaluation of the <br />proposals.
