C I T Y OF S U N N Y I S L E S B E A C <br />T R A F F 1 C E N G I N E E R I N G S E R V I C E S <br />PALM AVENUE (FROM WEST 45TH STREET TO WEST 49TH STREET) <br />CITY OF HIALEAH, FL <br />The scope of this project consisted of roadway improvements, milling and resurfacing, drainage, signing and <br />pavement markings and lighting plans on Palm Avenue from West 45th Street to West 47th Street and from <br />West 46th Street to West 49th Street in the City of Hialeah. This project is part of the American Recovery and <br />Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which is supported by federal funds. The challenge of this project was to prepare <br />roadway plans which would improve the roadway corridor while minimizing federal funds the City would have <br />to use, The major construction items included milling and resurfacing, signing and marking, utility <br />coordination and permitting with the FDOT.
