Cohen, City Manager <br /> <br />1/19/2012 <br /> <br />Authorizing a payment to Atlantic Broadband for work related to the <br />undergrounding of their lines in front of 19201 Collins Avenue. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Approve the payment of $11 ,367.00 to Atlantic Broadband. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />There are 5 concrete FPL poles in front of 19201 Collins Avenue. FPL removed their <br />lines from these poles, but cannot remove the poles themselves until the Atlantic <br />Broadband lines are also removed. Once the lines are removed and undergrounded, FPL <br />will remove the 5 poles and an additional empty 6th pole that is close by. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />This is part of the City's comprehensive under grounding efforts.
