The project site is located on the northeast parcel of <br />land at the intersection of Powerline Road and N.E. loth Street, in <br />the City of Deerfield Beach, Florida. The parcel is approximately <br />45.69 acres with approximately 36.84 acres of impervious area, <br />approximately 2.89 acres of landscape area, and 5.87 acres of <br />retention areas which includes the retention pond. <br /> <br />The site experienced flooding of the loading dock areas during <br />rainfall events impacting business operations. Coastal System <br />conducted a study and provided the client with an engineering <br />report, permit plans to improve the drainage system, permit <br />modifications and construction administration services. <br /> <br />The major components of the design included a pump station to <br />handle all the rainwater from the impervious area capable of <br />discharging 4,500 gpm. This pump station eliminated flooding of <br />the industrial parking lot areas during rainfall events thereby <br />enhancing the commercial warehouse operations. <br /> <br />Corporate Office: 464 South Dixie Highway.
