(Coastal Systems) is pleased to submit the attached original and four <br />copies of our qualifications in response to the above-referenced contract. This Request for Qualifications <br />(RFQ) includes a summary of the team's experience with the requested types of site/civil projects and <br />key project team resumes. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Coastal Systems specializes in designing drainage for low-lying areas on barrier islands, having designed <br />stormwater management systems for over 50 public and private projects in Miami Beach. The firm <br />pioneered an outfall control structure design that is now a design standard for the City of Miami Beach <br />Public Works Department, and this outfall design has been successfully implemented for several Right- <br />of-Way Projects in the City of Miami Beach. The design and permitting of a high capacity outfall is <br />crucial to the success of this project in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Coastal Systems has an established working relationship with the City, having provided coastal <br />engineering services for the City in 2008 to evaluate beach erosion hot spots. We look forward to <br />continuing the working relationship to provide creative solutions to this drainage project.
