<br />· S.W. 127th Avenue from S.W. 120th Street to Kendall Drive, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was
<br />the Project Manager for the widening of an existing 2-lane to a 4-lane urban section. The design included a
<br />14' diameter structural plate culvert at the C-l00 Canal.
<br />· U.S. 1, Miami-Dade/Monroe Counties, FL - The project comprised the final design and quality control for
<br />a 6-mile, 4-lane, limited access rural section between Key Largo and Homestead. This project is in an
<br />extremely sensitive environment that includes one panther crossing and three gator crossings. Client:
<br />Florida Department of Transportation, District Six.
<br />· S.R. 713 (Kings Highway) from SR 70 (Okeechobee Road) to CR607A (Angle Road), St. Lucie County, FL -
<br />Mr. Garganta was the Quality Control Manager for the milling and resurfacing of a 7 -mile, 2-lane rural
<br />arterial. Client: Florida Department ofTransportation.
<br />· S.R. 426 between Eastern Beltway and Mitchell Hammock Road, Orange County, FL - Mr. Garganta was
<br />the Quality Control Manager for the reconstruction of a paved lane urban section. The project included the
<br />design of eight retention ponds, two box culverts, and permitting. Client: Florida Department of
<br />Transportation, District Five.
<br />· Professional Services 1982, Construction 1985. Improvements to North Side Road from Queen Mary
<br />Highway to Windsor, St. Croix, USVI - The project comprised roadway improvements to a 2-mile section of
<br />2-lane rural road, including milling and resurfacing, paved shoulders, drainage improvements, signing and
<br />pavement markings.

<br />FREEWAY AND INTERCHANGE PROJECTS

<br />· 1-95 Managed Lanes, Miami-Dade County, FL - The project comprised traffic control plans for the
<br />construction of northbound overhead gantries and restriping of northbound lanes from SR 112 to Golden
<br />Glades Interchange. Client: Corzo, Carballo, Castello, Thompson & Salman, P.A.
<br />· SR 874 Killian Parkway, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager for the
<br />reconstruction of a 6-lane to 8-lane limited access toll plaza facility. The project includes two new
<br />mainline toll plazas, a ramp toll plaza, and the demolition of an existing plaza. The new project eliminated
<br />the toll plazas and converted to Open Road Tolling (ORl) only. The project also includes improvement to
<br />Killian Parkway Interchange. Services included roadway, bridges, building structures, toll facilities,
<br />intersections, interchanges, geotechnical services, surveys, drainage, signing and pavement markings,
<br />signalization, lighting, utility coordination and relocation, landscaping, maintenance of traffic/traffic
<br />control, cost estimates, environmental permits, pUblic involvement, noise abatement analysis,
<br />specifications, and all necessary items for a complete design. Client: Miami-Dade Expressway Authority.
<br />S.W. 57th Avenue from Coral Way to Tamiami Trail, Miami-Dade County, FL -Milling and resurfacing the
<br />project limits from SW 8th Street to SW 24th Street including drainage analysis and improvements.
<br />Intersection at SW 8th Street & SW 24th Street improved to increase capacity. Services included: roadway
<br />design and right-of-way surveys, field investigations, utility adjustment plans, signalization, lighting,
<br />landscape plans, and sidewalk upgrades.
<br />Palmetto Expressway {SR 826)/Bird Road/Miller Drive Interchange, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr.
<br />Garganta was the Project Manager for the widening and reconstruction of 2.2 miles of a limited access
<br />facility, interchange modifications, provisions for HOV and crossroads reconstruction. Client: Florida
<br />Department ofTransportation.
<br />Miami Intermodal Center/Miami International Airport Interchange, Miami-Dade County, FL - The project
<br />comprised the reconstruction of the existing Central Boulevard and Le Jeune Road intersection. Services
<br />include master planning of the Le Jeune Road corridor reconstruction phasing and the detailed Traffic
<br />Control Plans for Central Boulevard and Le Jeune Road. Client: URS Corporation.
