The award has been presented to us for the Carolina Street Pump Station. The <br />award is for Outstanding Achievement in Public Works, The selection process was based <br />on the use of good design and construction management techniques. It also required the <br />demonstration of safety, environmental and public techniques, improving the reiations <br />between agencies, public, and private industries. <br /> <br />As you are well aware, Pembroke Park has been plagued with storm water problems for <br />many years. Through the efforts of your fIrm, we have successfully achieved the <br />elimination ofthi's problem through the design, construction, and implementation of three <br />major pump stations, and related collection systems. I would like to thank your fInn for <br />your excellence in design, diligence on the project, and continued support of Pembroke <br />Park in its continued efforts to make Pembroke Park a great place in which to live and <br />conduct business. <br /> <br />This award is in recognition of the alliance between the Town, the agencies, the engineer, <br />and the contractor. We all recognize that it takes team effort to make a project such as <br />this most successful. Your fIrm has always shown itself to be a team player.
