Smith and Associates designed the City of Tamarac's three (3) pump <br />stations with a flow of 35,000 gallons per minute (GPM) for each pump as part <br />of our Stormwater Rehabilitation Project. <br /> <br />At a construction cost of $1.5 million per station, the design of the pump stations <br />consist of the following. <br /> <br />. Stilling Pond <br />. Bar screen <br />. Emergency generator <br />. Axial flow pumps <br />. Telemetry <br />. Head wall into C-14 canal <br /> <br />While the Project Director, William P. Snow, is responsible for the building design <br />and over all project design, the Project Manager, William H. Landis, is <br />responsible for the pump design and Project Engineer, Peter A. Kunen, is <br />responsible for the technical specifications and engineering services during <br />construction. <br /> <br />Construction of the west and central pump stations were completed in December <br />2005. The east pump station is' currently under construction.
