Information CIMA is a professional Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management Firm with a specialized emphasis in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering & Inspection Services. CIMA was formed in 1999 and currently maintains offices in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties. CIMA has provided professional Engineering services to a variety of municipal agencies including the Florida Department of Transportation (FOOT), The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, the City of Fort Lauderdale and the City of Miami Beach. Our services cover aspects of construction work to include buildings, airports, mass- transit, transportation, structures and utilities projects while our Civil Engineering design division possesses extensive experience in the design of water, sewer, and drainage systems and roadway planning and design. In 2008, CIMA diversified its portfolio and branched out into the field of Construction Management services for Building Construction projects. CIMA has provided these high-quality services to municipal agencies, most notably to the City of Fort Lauderdale on the construction of new municipal fire stations. In 2010, with the goal of providing a full range of services to its clientele CIMA became a licensed Architecture firm offering its expertise in site planning, building design and construction, interior architectural design, as well as renovation and expansion of existing structures. CIMA's staff brings over 10 years experience in a variety of typologies including single and multi-family residential, hospitality, retail, office/commercial, and mixed-use projects. CIMA is the certified D.B.A. of our parent company, CIMA Engineering Corporation, a licensed corporation with the State of Florida for the past 11 years. CIMA is also a Disadvantage Business Enterprise, certified by the Florida Department of Transportation, SBA 8(a) Certified, CBE Certified in Miami-Dade County and Broward County. CIMA has performed as prime consultant on several contracts and our performance on these projects has resulted in continuing work from our clients. For example, all work on FOOT jobs are evaluated for performance and assigned a grade; CIMA's Average Grade with the Department of Transportation is a 4.6 of 5 points. CIMA has extensive experience as the Prime Consultant performing Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering & Inspection Services on various projects throughout South Florida. CIMA's professional staff brings over thirty (30) years of experience in Civil Engineering design and as a result our personnel are well versed in the standards required for this project in addition to experience with the various state agencies that will be required to coordinate with during construction of the project. Over the past twelve (12) years, CIMA has efficiently and professionally participated on many similar government projects in providing our services and it is a priority for us to continue providing our excellent services in the same successful manner to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. CIMA is a fully certified and insured (see attached) corporation and our firm is free of any litigation or claims and is fully available to provide the Civil Engineering services requested.
