The utility <br />improvements design included upgrading the existing stormwater management system and complete <br />water distribution systems, in addition to the redesign/reconfiguration of the overall parking area. <br /> <br />Downtown Davie: Davie, Florida: Contract Manager/Engineer of Record for the engineering design, <br />-permitting and construction aomiiiistrationfor a 12 acre,liglit-density, mixed-use (residential;-retail and <br />office development) project in the Town of Davie. Project included legal depositions and expert witness <br />testimony towards resolving drainage issues with adjoining property(s). <br /> <br />Golden Acres Apartments, Pompano Beach, Florida: Contract Manager/Engineer of Record for this <br />affordable housing project with 302 units completed in two phases, Golden Square (182 units) and Golden <br />Villas (120 units). Project tasks included preparation and processing of the site plan, platting, surveying, <br />design and permitting of the water, sewer and drainage systems, roadway design and permitting, utility <br />coordination, and construction administration services. <br /> <br />Elementary School "A" (Sunrise, FL), School Board of Broward County: Engineer of Record for this new <br />960 student elementary school encompassing design through construction. Complete civil engineering <br />design, permitting, construction inspections and administration services were provided/performed. The <br />improvements included complete site development, paving/ grading/drainage systems, potable <br />water/sanitary sewer systems, and pavement marking and sign age. A second school, Elementary School <br />"z" in the City of Parkland using the same prototype building plan, was designed/constructed concurrently <br />with this project. <br /> <br />Tri-Rail Double Tracking Corridor Improvements: Engineer of Record/Utility Construction Manager for <br />a portion of this large scale project involving planning, permitting, and engineering for the expansion of <br />multiple stations and supporting infrastructure in the tri-county area. The pertaining project <br />improvements included new /reconfigured station parking lots and associated stormwater management <br />systems; utility infrastructure improvements including modifications and new facilities for both water <br />distribution and sanitary sewer systems; drainage system modifications and connections including large <br />scale box culvert construction observation, utility, drainage and roadway improvements. The project was a <br />fast-track Design/Build initiative that involved numerous governmental agencies, municipalities, utility <br />companies (both public and private) and drainage districts. <br /> <br />City of Deerfield Beach Miscellaneous Engineering/Surveying Services Contract: (2007-2008) <br />Contract Manager/Engineer of Record of an ongoing continuing services contract providing as needed <br />General Engineering and Surveying and Mapping services to the municipality on an as needed basis. <br />Projects provided under the contract included: <br /> <br />A-l-A "S-Curve" Beach Roadway and Beautification Redevelopment <br />. Intersection improvement design of Goolsby and Hillsboro Boulevards <br />. Intersection improvement design of Century and Hillsboro Boulevards <br /> <br />Broward Boulevard Bridge Improvements: Plantation, FL, (2003), East of West Tropical Trail to East of <br />University Drive: Senior Project Administrator for the replacement of two bridges connecting to Broward <br />Boulevard with aluminum arch culverts (Con-Span) including bridge demolition, drainage modifications, <br />intersection and roadway modifications, milling and resurfacing, signalization modifications, roadway <br />lighting, landscaping and irrigation, and pavement markings and signage. <br /> <br />Page 3114 <br />
