The project included <br />a new luxury condominium building adjacent to the Hollywood public <br />boardwalk; renovation of a marina complex along the Intracoastal <br />Waterway; and, a new low rise residential/office complex. <br /> <br />Consul ting Engineering & Science, Inc. \vas the C:;i vil/Site and <br />Coastal engineering consultant for these projects. Their <br />responsibilities included the planning, permitting and design of <br />the site improvements; and, the planning, environmental permitting <br />and design of the marina renovations. Civil/Site/Coastal design <br />fees for this project were over $300,000; and, the total <br />construction cost was over $50 million. Design work began in 2002 <br />and construction was generally completed in 2008. <br /> <br />Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc~s participation in this <br />project has been a major factor in its success. Their ability to <br />deal with a multitude of regulatory agencies; and, their knowledge <br />and understanding of Federal, State and local environmental <br />regulatory issues were paramount.
