<br />In response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach's Request for Qualifications seeking a firm to provide Civil
<br />Engineering Services to design street and drainage improvements for the City, Craven Thompson and
<br />Associates, Inc. (CTA) is pleased to submit this Statement of Qualifications for your consideration.
<br />Our experience with numerous municipalities substantiates that the Craven Thompson & Associates'
<br />team is the best choice for the assignment.
<br />
<br />The CTA team routinely applies management and scheduling techniques which result in on-time and
<br />within budget projects. Adolfo A. Gonzalez, P.E., LEED AP will serve as Project Manager and the
<br />primary point of contact. Through our experience, the CTA team has developed the knowledge and
<br />expertise necessary to identify potential problem areas during the conceptual and planning phases of
<br />the project and develop solutions that are practical and cost-feasible. Early identification and
<br />treatment of problem areas has proven to help eliminate delays and expenses often encountered
<br />during the latter stages of project development.
<br />
<br />CTA is the Consulting Engineer for numerous public agencies including the City of Aventura, City of
<br />Miami Gardens, City of Oakland Park, Town of Davie, Central Broward Water Control District, and the
<br />City of Greenacres, to name a few. As such, we have been involved in the planning, design,
<br />permitting, contract administration and construction management of numerous Capital Improvement
<br />Projects, including stormwater improvement projects, streetscape beautification projects, parks,
<br />roadways, waterways, and water and sewer transmission and distribution and collection projects.
<br />CTA is the Consultant for Broward County on numerous neighborhood improvement projects. These
<br />projects equate to hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of infrastructure improvements to over
<br />6,000 acres of land in neighborhoods throughout Broward County. Needless to say, the quality of life
<br />in these communities has improved. CTA has also been involved in large scale projects which have
<br />involved FOOT Local Area Program (LAP.), Federal and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
<br />funding stipulations.
<br />
<br />CTA has an experienced and qualified staff of sixty-three employees, which includes eighteen Civil
<br />Engineers, three Landscape Architects, one Planner, six Registered Surveyors, four AutoCAD
<br />Technicians, nine Field Representatives and other support staff, ready to assist the City.
<br />
