The construction cost for this project is estimated at $26 mil/ion. The Storm water system is comprised of 7 closed basins including a joint use system with the Turnpike Enterprise. The project includes a complex traffic control scheme that minimizes impacts to the ramps terminals and toll facilities for the Turnpike Interchange in the town of Oakland. Extensive right-of-way coordination, including acquisitions and easements, were required. The proposed typical consists of a single 15 feet lane ramp facility with 6 feet shoulders, 2 feet paved on the left and 4 feet paved on the right.
