<br /> <br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF BID: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") intends to secure the services of a qualified Security <br />Consultant to develop a Security Master Plan for all public areas of the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />to include City facilities, parks, beaches, and streets. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-BID CONFERENCE <br /> <br />No pre-bid conference will be held at this time, but if the City finds the need hold a pre-bid <br />conference an addendum will be issued. <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract will commence on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval of the <br />contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise stipulated in the Notice of Award <br />letter, which is distributed by the City's Purchasing Agent; and contingent upon the completion <br />and submittal of all required proposal documents. This contract shall remain in effect until the <br />project is completed. <br /> <br />2.4 METHOD OF AWARD <br /> <br />See section 4 <br /> <br />2.5 PRICE <br /> <br />Prices shall remain fixed and firm through the term of the contract <br /> <br />2.6 PERFORMANCE BOND <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.7 DELIVERY <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.8 INSURANCE <br /> <br />Consultant shall, at its sole cost and expense, during the period of any work being performed <br />under this Agreement, procure and maintain the following minimum insurance coverages to <br />protect the City and Consultant against all loss, claims, damage and liabilities caused by <br />Consultant, its agents, contractors or employees, as more particularly set forth below: <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Proposal No. 12-01-02 <br /> <br />
