<br /> <br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF BID: <br /> <br />The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the rental of event rides, tents, <br />tables, arts & craft booths, carnival games and chairs in conjunction with the needs of the City <br />on an as needed when needed basis. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-BID CONFERENCE (NON-MANDATORY): <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract will commence on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval of the <br />contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise stipulated in the Notice of Award <br />letter, which is distributed by the City's Purchasing Agent; and contingent upon the completion <br />and submittal of all required proposal documents. This contract shall remain in effect for four (4) <br />year; provided that the services rendered by the Proposer during the contract period are <br />satisfactory . <br /> <br />2.4 OPTIONS TO RENEW <br /> <br />Intentionally Omited <br /> <br />2.5 METHOD OF AWARD <br /> <br />Award of this contract will be made to all responsive, responsible vendors who meet the <br />minimum qualifications set forth in this solicitation. Those qualifications are as follows: <br /> <br />. Must show proof that they conduct background checks on all employees <br /> <br />. Provide a minimum of three (3) references in which similar goods and/or services have <br />been provided within the past three (3) years including scope of work, contact names, <br />addresses, telephone numbers and dates of service. A contact person shall be someone <br />who has personal knowledge of the contractor's performance for the specific requirement <br />listed. Contact person must have been informed that they are being used as a reference <br />and that the City may be calling them. DO NOT list persons who will be unable to <br />answer specific questions regarding the requirement. <br /> <br />. Provide a list of all equipment including tables, chairs, tents mechanical rides and booths <br />that will be available/used to complete the work as outlined in the Scope of Work. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Proposal No. 12-01-05 <br /> <br />
