<br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services 1 Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />It is the intent of this Invitation To Bid to select a qualified Contractor to provide various <br />equipment on a temporary rental basis for the City's special events or other events as they arise. <br />Prompt and timely delivery/set up and tear down are required as well as cooperation with City <br />Staff and other contractors at the event site. <br /> <br />The Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment and materials for the delivery, <br />proper set up and take down installation where required, and removal of all rented equipment. <br />This equipment shall be utilized for City sponsored special events to be located in the designated <br />locations. <br /> <br />3.2 EOUIPMENT <br /> <br />All equipment to be installed on turf (where installation is required). It shall be the responsibility <br />of the Contractor(s) to deliver the equipment in a good, clean condition and to maintain and <br />repair any damages to the equipment during the rental period. Broken, damaged or equipment <br />delivered in poor condition will not be accepted by the City. Replacement equipment must be <br />delivered within 2 hours. <br /> <br />3.3 COMPANY REPRESENTITIVE <br /> <br />There must be an agent or supervisor on call who can be reached by telephone, beeper or <br />portable phone in case equipment problems arise after delivery. Supervisor or agent must <br />respond within 15 minutes of initial call and corrections made or replacement equipment <br />delivered within 2 hours of initial call. Time of pick up must be coordinated through assigned <br />City staff. Delivery and pick up of all items must be supervised by City staff. <br /> <br />3.4 CODE REOUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The vendor is responsible for installing fire extinguishers and related signs to meet code <br />requirements and contacting the appropriate inspection agency prior to staking any tents. <br /> <br />3.5 DAMAGES <br /> <br />The selected vendor shall repair damages to any existing utilities, equipment, lawn, and/or <br />finished surfaces resulting from the vendor performance of service, to the satisfaction of the City <br />at no cost. <br /> <br />3.6 EOUIPMENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />3.6.1 TENT: PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Proposal No. 12-01-05 <br /> <br />
