CANNON <br />T&M PROTECTION RESOURCES <br />SENIOR CONSULTANT <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Role on Project - Subject Matter Expert: Security <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />After more than twenty-five years of progressively responsible and diverse administration within the New <br />York City Police Department, Mr. Cannon retired on June 30th, 2006 as an Assistant Chief. Since that time he <br />has been performing consulting work on projects requiring his expertise in areas including police <br />management and crime control, public safety, school and campus security, counter-terrorism, high threat <br />environment security, concept of operations(con-ops) protocols, emergency management, guard force <br />management, traffic analysis and control. He is also an experienced trainer, having created curriculum and <br />instructing for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in jurisdictions throughout the nation on <br />critical incident response, post-911 and for police entrance and promotional exams for Police Tutorial <br />Se1"\Tices. <br /> <br />) <br />) <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />During Mr. Cannon's NYPD career he was in command of three Precincts (81st, 32nd, 75th) the <br />Communications Division and the Traffic Control Division and was Executive Officer of Patrol Borough <br />Queens North and Brooklyn Detectives. These especially, and his other assignments provided extensive <br />experience in successful special event planning, management and operational implementation as well as <br />security, emergency preparedness and disaster response contingency and recovery planning. Included in this <br />area of experience was the planning and overseeing police operations for the 2004 Republican National <br />Convention, the United Nations General Assembly, events at Shea Stadium, the U.S. Tennis Open, the NYC <br />Marathon, the NYC blackout and transit strike. Many of these assignments involved dignitary protection and <br />cooperative liaison and coordination with federal, state and other local law enforcement agencies as well as <br />with other public agencies, private organizations and elected officials. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />:NIr.
