<br /> <br />equipment shall be of a suitable type and grade for the purpose. All material, workmanship, and <br />equipment shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the City's Project Manager. <br /> <br />2.17 LICENSES, PERMITS AND FEES <br /> <br />The vendor shall obtain and pay for all licenses, permits and inspection fees required for this <br />project; and shall comply with all laws, ordinances, regulations and building code requirements <br />applicable to the work contemplated herein. Damages, penalties and or fines imposed on the <br />City or the vendor for failure to obtain required Iicensesr permits or fines shall be borne by the <br />vendor. <br /> <br />2.18 PURCHASE OF OTHER ITEMS NOT LISTED WITHIN THIS SOLICITATION BASED ON <br />DISCOUNTS FROM PRICE LISTS: <br /> <br />While the City has listed all major items within this solicitation which are utilized by City <br />departments in conjunction with their operations, there may be similar items that must be <br />purchased by the City during the term of this contract. For this reason, vendors are requested to <br />quote the percentage discount that will be offered to the City for items which do not appear on <br />this solicitation. This discount shall be offered for all items listed in nationally established annual <br />retail supply catalogs. The most recently published catalog shall serve as the basis for <br />establishing the retail price to be discounted. <br /> <br />2.19 RENTAL OF OTHER ITEMS NOT LISTED IN THIS SOLICITATION <br />BASED ON PRICE OUOTES <br /> <br />While the City has listed all major items within the scope of this solicitation which are utilized by <br />City departments in conjunction with its operations, there may be additional like items that must <br />be rented by the City during the term of this contract. Under these circumstances, a City <br />representative will contact the vendor and obtain a price quote for the additional like items. This <br />City representative will also obtain price quotes from at least two (2) other sources, if available. <br />The City reserves the right to award these additional like items to the vendor under this contract, <br />or another commercial source, based on the lowest price quoted.
