and shall be complctcd no Iatcr than ten (10) weeks thereafter. A reasonablc cxtcnsion of time shall be granted in the event the work of the Contractor is delayed or prevented by the City or by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Contractor including weather conditions or acts of God which render the pcrformance of the Contractor's duty impracticablc. 14. AUTHORITY TO PRACTICE. Contractor hereby represcnts and warrants that it has and will continue to maintain all licenses and approvals required to conduct its business and that it will at all times conduct its busincss activities in a reputable manner. Proof of such licenses and approvals shall be submitted to the City prior to commencement of work under this Agrecment. '15. MODIFICATIONS OF WORK. The City reserves the right to make changes in the work, including alterations, reductions or additions thereto. Upon receipt of the City's notification of a contemplated change, the Contractor shall (I) if requested by thc City, provide an cstimatc for the incrcase or dccrcase in cost due to the contcmplatcd change, (2) notify the City of any estimated changc in completion date, and (3) advise the City in writing if the contemplated change shall affect the Contractor's ability to mcct the completion dates or schedules of this Agreement. 16. NOTICES: All notices and other communications required or permitted to be given under this Agreement by cither party to the other shall be in writing and shall be sent (except as otherwise provided herein) (i) by certified or registered mail, first class postage prepaid, return receipt requested, (ii) by guaranteed overnight delivery by a nationally recognized courier service, or (iii) by facsimile with confirnlation receipt (with a copy simultaneously sent by certified or registered mail, first class postage prepaid, return receipt requested or by ovcmight delivery by traditionally recognized courier service), addressed to such party as follows: If to the City: Alan J.
