CALTRAN Sunny Isles Day Care Center BIGINHRING��G p Summary of Findings and Recommendations: • This analysis contemplated the most conservative scenario of trip generation forecast rates for the Day Care Center as well as applying reduction of pass by trips only to the previous bank that used to occupy 3 times the proposed store -front area. The trip generation Analysis for the proposed Day Care Center concluded the proposed Day Care Center could generated at least two times less traffic than might typically generated by the previous Drive -In Bank in the same store - front. • A level of services analysis was performed considering a conservative assumption that 70% of the day care traffic will be originated at Collins Avenue. The LOS analysis concluded that the intersection of Collins Avenue at NE 174" Street is currently operating at acceptable LOS "B" and will continue operating al the same LOS with very insignificant increase in the overall control delay that cannot be perceived by drivers after including the conservative trips estimated for the Day care Center. • A review of the parking analysis considered that if 4 to 6 parking spaces that are assigned to the daycare facility to process kids within 5 minutes will suffice to serve the expected traffic demand during drop off and pick up periods: it is- important to-mention-that for this- type offacility -arrival to the daycare will be -non- recurrent -and — discontinuous. In summary, the proposed Sunny Isles Day Care Facility would not have an adverse impact on the surrounding roadway network and /or affect other traffic generators. Engineer's Certification I, Juan S.
