Recommendations were provided that covered topics such as secu.city management, communications, Staffing and emerging trends in technology that would be required for the Museum's Security Control Center. The review examined crisis and emergency preparedness from both a strategic and a tactical perspective to ensure that the Museum had the necessary fundamentals and personnel to fulJill an effective Crisis Management Program. As a result of the review, T&M was com.m.issioned to assist the Museum in developing a structured Crisis Management Team, a Crisis Management Plan and Crisis Management and Personal Safety Training. T&M also assessed the overall security program from both an office and a museum perspective to evaluate protective measures as they related to protection of the priceless art work and other artifacts during a crisis and maintaining operations during any associated recovery period.
