AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND T & M PROTECTION RESOURCES, LLC CONTRACT NO. Cl112-013 , rJVS AGRE MENT (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is made in duplicate, this 1/..!..!)!day of . , 2012, by and between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Florida, reinafter referred to as "City"), and T & M PROTECTION RESOURCES, LLC a corporation authorized to do business in the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant") whosc Federal J.D. # is 26-1258977. RECITALS WHEREAS, the City is in nced of qualified Security Consultant to develop a Security Master Plan for common public areas under control of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, including City offices and facilities ("Services"); and WHEREAS, the City issued Request for Proposal No. 12-01-02 for Security Consultant and the Consultant submitted a response thereto; and WHEREAS, Consultant is a certified and insured company with the necessary experience to provide the desired Services; and WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into this Agreement with Consultant to provide the Services in a total amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($149,500.00). NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and the mutual covenants herein name, the parties agrcc as follows: I. RECITALS. The Recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this Agreement and made a part hereof for reference. 2. SERVICES. Consultant shall develop a detailed security master plan for the City, specifically excluding private property and facilities, and only including common public spaces under control of the City, including City offices and facilities, as more particularly described in Consultant's Response to Request for Proposal #12-01-02 and Consultant's revised proposal dated March 15,2012, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated hereinby referencc_ as Attachment "A", 3. TERM. This Agreement will commence on the first calendar day of the month succecding approval of the contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise stipulated in the Notice of Award letter, which is distributed by the City's Purchasing Agcnt and contingent upon the completion and submittal of all required proposal documents, The Services shall be required to be complete no later than one (1) year from the commencement date.
