Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> <br />4119/2012 <br /> <br />Approval to Purchase Six (6) Police Vehicles and associated <br />equipment not to exceed $221,609.75 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution <br />authorizing the City Manager to purchase six (6) Police Vehicles and associated <br />equipment not to exceed $221,609.75 <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />With the addition of six new police officer positions as part of the City Managers <br />reorganizational plan, there is a need for six additional police vehicles. These six <br />(6) vehicles will be purchased from Maroone Chrysler Dodge of Pembroke Pines <br />(3- Dodge Chargers and 2 Dodge Durangos) and from Bartow Chevrolet (1 - <br />Chevy Impala).
