The contents of <br />the report may be used for field verification purposes. <br /> <br />~ Perform a review of all local Noise Ordinances which have jurisdiction in the subject location. <br />Municode (www.municode.com) and/or other types of searches will be used to accomplish this task <br />at the City and County levels. <br /> <br />~ Existing ambient sound levels will be established at the Skate Park and will include background <br />ambient sound levels, normal operational sound levels, and peak hour condition sound levels <br />(including weekend periods). The parks hours of operation and number of skater's present will be <br />documented. Additionally, other types of sound sources such as vehicular traffic and aircraft noise <br />will be documented. All applicable sound levels will be measured with Type 1 or Class 1 Acoustical <br />Instrumentation. All relevant noise metrics including octave band spectra will be measured for the <br />purposes of the acoustical assessment. <br /> <br />~ Existing ambient sound levels will be established at each of the residential towers at site specific <br />locations where noise impacts have previously been documented and / or at locations of specific <br />interest including the swimming pool area. The types of sound impacts measured and the <br />acoustical instrumentation used will be the same as specified above. <br /> <br />~ CadnaA software will be used to develop computer predicted sound level impacts at all relevant <br />locations of interest associated with the residential towers, the swimming pool area, and the Skate <br />Park. CadnaA will be utilized for the purpose of providing acoustical mapping with contours of the <br />subject area under evaluation. Sound attenuation measures will be developed based upon the <br />acoustical mapping results. <br /> <br />~ Potential site modifications to the existing Skate Park will be evaluated for the purposes of reducing <br />the existing noise levels during operation events and time periods. Potential site modifications will <br />be evaluated in CadnaA. <br /> <br />~ The results of the CadnaA modeling will be used for the purposes of establishing noise levels at <br />receptor points and determining acoustical materials, treatment selection, and placement. <br />Coordination with the appropriate acoustical materials vendor will ensure the proper application of <br />the expected acoustical materials content. <br /> <br />~ The results of the CadnaA modeling will be used for the purpose of developing the applicable cost <br />estimates for acoustical materials, treatments, installation, and permitting. All materials and <br />construction methods will meet South Florida Building Codes including Wind Loading. A variety of <br />materials may be available and could offer different colors and textures to ensure that the final <br />product is aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />~ Oversight and preparation of all shop drawings, applicable material costs, labor, and permitting, will <br />be provided to ensure that all time constraints and budgets are properly achieved. <br /> <br />+ <br />Stanley Consultants INC. <br /> <br />29 <br />
