<br />Curtis + Rogers Design Studio, is a minority owned company licensed in the State of Florida to provide landscape
<br />architectural services, The firm formed in 1991, by Aida M. Curtis and Richard H, Rogers, is well known throughout
<br />South Florida for providing, award - winning landscape architectural services. In 2006, Jean C. Lee, also a registered
<br />landscape architect, became a firm principal. The firm is a Hispanic-Female owned company, certified by numerous
<br />municipalities throughout the state.

<br />Curtis + Rogers is celebrating its 20th year in existence. Our principals' 54 years of combined experience with complex
<br />projects and the long-term relationships with our clients is testimony to our ability to create environments that engage the
<br />senses and lift the spirits while meeting the operational demands and functional realities of public projects, Our commit-
<br />ment to client service and excellence in design has led to numerous accolades including being honored as "Landscape
<br />Architects of the Year" in 2001 and 2009 by the Miami Chapter of the AlA.

<br />The integration of sustainable site design and "green" concepts is at the core of Curtis + Rogers design expression.
<br />Having completed many of the first LEED projects in South Florida - first LEED school in Florida- Pine Jog Elementary,
<br />first LEED school in Miami-Dade County- Terra High School and first LEED building in the City of Miami-Melreese Golf
<br />Clubhouse. Curtis + Rogers is not only at the forefront of this movement in South Florida, but has the proven record of

<br />The Curtis + Rogers team has extensive experience, in processing projects through the regulatory and permitting agen-
<br />cies, Having an established presence in Miami-Dade County, our project range has included projects in unincorporated
<br />Miami-Dade, City of Miami, City of South Miami, Coral Gables, Village of Pinecrest, Aventura, and City of Doral among
<br />other individual municipalities.

<br />Curtis + Rogers has nurtured successful relationships with various agencies that may have jurisdiction on Coral Gables
<br />projects, such as Miami - Dade County's Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM), Miami-Dade's
<br />Building Department, Florida Department of Transportation ( District VI), South Florida Water Management District,
<br />Corps of Engineers and State of Florida DEP. Our portfolios of built projects have been successfully completed byacquir-
<br />ing tree removal permits, water use permits, ROW permits, and general construction permits,

<br />In terms of Design Approvals, several members of our staff have continuously served on various review boards, Aida M,
<br />Curtis, ASLA - served as design review member for the City of Miami Beach for over 3 years, Gerry Marston, FASLA -
<br />has been a member of the City of Miami's Historic and Preservation Board, and Dick Rogers, FASLA has served as part
<br />of the Miami-Dade Transportation and Aesthetic Review Committee (TARC).

<br />Specific Related Experience
<br />
<br />Our firm has been involved in various aspects of coastal recreational projects, from the master planning, design, docu-
<br />mentation and final implementation of desired improvements, Our projects range in size and scope from the 432-acre
<br />Deering Estate at Cutler, for which we did the General Plan, and have continued to provide services related to design
<br />and permitting of a canoe launch, natural entrance trail, parking facilities, pavilions and restrooms, We have also pro-
<br />vided Master Planning for Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, and design and permitting for the Baywalk improvements.
<br />In addition our firm has served as general consultants for Parks and Recreation Departments for Miami Dade County,
<br />City of Miami and Miami Beach, in particular as it relates to their park improvements. Parks such as Lummus Park,
<br />North Shore Park, North Shore Open Space Park, Gibson Park, Doral Park, and others have been improved through our
<br />designs and work efforts,
