<br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services 1 Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (the 'City") requests qualified proposers ['Proposers") to <br />submit proposals to provide comprehensive full-scale conceptual, architectural, design, surveying, <br />civil, utility, landscaping, permit preparation/permitting, specifications and construction <br />documents necessary for the landscaping sod, shrubs, trees and irrigation along with concrete <br />paver walks and structural screen walls and fencing along the waterways to facilitate the <br />construction of two Intracoastal Parks CParks") within the City located at the following addresses: <br /> <br />. 16100 - 16200 Collins Avenue <br />. 16000 - 16050 Collins Avenue <br /> <br />Each Proposer shall incorporate sufficient information in the conceptual drawings, construction <br />plans, specifications and drawing notes in order to permit as well as provide to the City <br />documents suitable for RFP by the City a permitted and 100% turnkey complete project. <br /> <br />The work shall be divided into two (2) separate but coordinated Park sites to ensure that <br />regardless of one, the other can be completed without being dependent on the other. Each park <br />site location is geometrically different one from the other. The expressed concept the City <br />requests is the development of "passive parks": <br /> <br />. Predominately green sodded lawn spaces with a concrete paver walk to meander north/south <br />through the Poinciana Drive entrance road which bisects the four parcels thereby connecting <br />each of the parcels together. <br /> <br />. The Parks shall also share the concept of a screen wall along the western boundary of the <br />parcels along the seawall. <br /> <br />. This concrete masonry wall shall be interrupted periodically by aluminum fencing to allow for <br />water views. <br /> <br />. The wall shall be constructed with a finish and character to match that of the Atlantic Isles <br />development on the north end complete with decorative/lighted pedestal columns and stone <br />veneer. <br /> <br />. The fencing shall match the aluminum fencing installed throughout the City. <br /> <br />. The park at 16000 - 16050 Collins Avenue may include a play structure in the NW or SW <br />corner. <br /> <br />.
