<br /> <br /> <br />) Florida International University <br />Multi-Purpose Baseball Stadium <br />Miami, Florida. <br /> <br />The 2,000 seat Stadium is the home of the Golden <br />Panthers Baseball Team having the capabilities of <br />hosting the collegiate NCAA playoffs. <br /> <br />The Stadium is located in the South West corner <br />of the site and acts as a focal point to the <br />University's 17th street entrance. <br /> <br />The Stadium's design features arches throughout <br />the lower level consistent with the architecture <br />on campus. <br /> <br />The three story high elevation emphasis the main <br />entrance to the Stadium. Its open air double <br />volume space allows for cross ventilation. <br /> <br />The Facility was designed in three levels: <br /> <br />-The lower level consists of the main entry, ticket <br />counter, concessions, coaches and players locker <br />rooms, weight room, therapy/taping room, <br />meeting room, and restrooms. <br /> <br />) -The middle level consists of the stadium seating. <br /> <br />-The upper level consists of the press box, VIP <br />lounge and offices for coaches and staff. <br /> <br />Future build-out will include Baseball Hall of Fame, <br />visitors locker rooms, umpire locker rooms, <br />work room, and offices. <br /> <br />Client: Florida Board of Regents <br /> <br />Location: Florida International University <br />University Park Campus- Miami, FL <br /> <br />Project: New Field and Stadium <br /> <br />Completion: Phase 1-1996 <br />Phase 11- 2000 <br /> <br />LAURA M.
