Site planning, civil <br />engineering and landscape architecture were all <br />performed by Craven Thompson. A roadway was <br />vacated and this presented the opportunity for <br />additional open space area to be established and the <br />park facility to be expanded. Many of the established <br />trees were retained with an enhanced with understory <br />plantings that provided seasonal interest. Amenities <br />such as bocce ball, horseshoes and basketball were <br />added to the existing facility, as well as a playground <br />overhaul, to provide a wide variety of athletic activities <br />to the facility.
