(CTA) was the civil <br />engineer for the 80-acre multi-phase Pine Trails Park located <br />in the City of Parkland. Phase I consisted of 40 acres of <br />development and included extensive earthwork, construction <br />of a 5-acre lake along with soccer fields, basketball courts, <br />walkways, lighting and an amenities building and associated <br />parking. Phases I and II CTA worked closely with the City of <br />Parkland and the design team led by Edward D. Stone & <br />Associates, Inc. to address environmental, earthwork, utility <br />and drainage issues. Phase I construction was completed in <br />the fourth quarter of 2003. Phase II was a 20-acre section of <br />the park, the site work construction was completed in 2007. <br />CTA was the prime consultant for the 12.8 Acre Phase III <br />portion of the Pine Trails Park. Phase III consisted of three <br />softball fields, paved parking, lighting and paved pedestrian <br />plazas. Phase III construction was completed in the fourth <br />quarter of 2008. As lead consultant of the Phase III design <br />team, CTA worked closely with the City of Parkland to finalize <br />the design. CTA's responsibilities included Site, Civil, <br />Landscape design, including project management and <br />coordination of all design professionals.
