Energy Conservation <br /> <br />Construction Management <br />CGA believes key elements of construction management include: contract <br />negotiation, implementing quality control and assurance programs, contract <br />document review, shop drawing approval, review and administration of <br />contractor RFls, observation of field activity to assure construction is completed <br />in accordance with construction documents, payment request recommendation, <br />change order administration, environmental and NPDES monitoring, field report <br />and documentation, as-built record drawing preparation, and agency jpermit <br />closeout documentation and certification. As part of being a Municipal <br />Consultant for several local governmental entities, we are constantly involved <br />and up to date in all related agencies requirements and procedures; we have <br />served as construction management for over $100 million Capital Projects, <br />successfully assisting in the bidding, selection of contractor, construction and <br />final certifications, in conjunction with different design consultants and clients. <br /> <br /> <br />Environmental Specialties and Permitting <br />The diverse and in-depth work experience of our environmental staff provides us with a critical <br />understanding of current local and regional environmental planning and permitting issues and the historic <br />_ _I impacts that have affected the southeast region, as well as the adaptive <br />strategies that will be necessary to address climate change and rising sea <br />levels. CGA's multidisciplinary approach is reflected in the integrated <br />partnership of our environmental department with the many disciplines of <br />our firm. <br /> <br /> <br />The integration of technical field skills, regulatory details and overall project <br />requirements allows us to address project needs from inceptions to <br />completion. Our environmental staff routinely coordinates details with <br />owners, developers, design engineers, surveyors, as well as governmental agency. It is our goal to obtain <br />reasonable, environmentally sensible solutions for our clients. <br /> <br /> <br />Traffic and Transportation Engineering <br />In today's "transportation focused" market, virtually every regional <br />planning activity and site-specific development involves assessing <br />traffic-related impact. Through combined experience in managing <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), municipal and private- <br />sector transportation projects, CGA developed a mutually beneficial <br />approach that integrates all perspectives.
