The project included extensive <br />public coordination due to the high profile nature of this <br />segment of Lincoln Road. The project required extensive coordination <br />with FDOT due to improvements proposed along Collins Avenue (State Road) and the specialized <br />materials specified. <br /> <br />SE 15th St Boat Launch & Marine Complex, Fort Lauderdale, FL <br /> <br />As part of its general civil engineering contract, Chen Moore and Associates was asked to design and <br />permit upgrades to the parking lot located at 1784 SE 15th Street. The property covers approximately <br />29,000 SF and has two boat ramps, a marina and the police water unit building. The parking lot currently <br />provides 58 parking spaces for vehicles <br />with attached boat trailers only, one of the <br />spaces being handicap accessible. <br /> <br />The scope of services includes removing <br />the existing fixed docks and replacing them <br />with new floating concrete docks for City <br />use and proposing drainage and lighting <br />upgrades to bring the lot up to City Code <br />compliance.
