This project consists <br />of proposed improvements to the existing <br />Bandshell Park located east of Collins Avenue <br />between 72nd and 73rd Streets within the <br />City of Miami Beach. The project includes a <br />new walkway connecting the park to the <br />beachwalk at 72nd Street; the widening of <br />the south sidewalk at 73rd Street which will <br />require either the removal or reconfiguration <br />of on-street parking; the demolition of the <br />bus shelter; landscaping, outdoor accent and <br />security lighting; reconfiguration and/or <br />addition of walkways; installation of an <br />electronic marquee; installation of the <br />"Beatles Mandala", a mosaic tile artwork; and <br />new urban elements such as drinking <br />fountains, trash containers and bike racks. <br /> <br />Miami Beach City Center Right of Way <br />Improvement Project. Chen Moore and <br />Associates is the prime consultant responsible <br />for the planning, design, permitting, and <br />construction administration for enhancements <br />within the public right of way areas of Lincoln <br /> <br />Road between Washington Avenue and Collins <br />Avenue for the City of Miami Beach. The <br />project included extensive public coordination <br />due to the high profile nature of this segment <br />of Lincoln Road. Unique sidewalk/crosswalk <br />materials and patterns were utilized along <br />with specialized tree wells, a proposed <br />median and extensive landscaping with <br />uplighting to provide a pedestrian friendly <br />environment and distinctive look to this <br />prominent area of the City. In addition to the <br />streetscape elements, new bus stop areas <br />and shelters, stormwater drainage <br />improvements and roadway resurfacing are <br />proposed. The project required extensive <br />coordination with FDOT due to improvements <br />proposed along Collins Avenue (State Road) <br />and the specialized materials specified. <br /> <br />This project is currently under construction <br />with CMA staff supporting Miami Beach staff <br />through construction administration services <br />and on-site field observation through CMA <br />staff RPR services. <br /> <br />Miami Beach South Pointe Phase <br />III/IV /V - ROW Improvement Project. <br />The project encompasses approximately <br />19,000 LF of infrastructure improvements <br />within the public right of way areas of the <br />South Pointe III/IV/V neighborhood of Miami <br />Beach. Project included water main <br />replacements, stormwater drainage <br />improvements, paving & grading, <br />streetscaping enhancements, landscaping <br />improvements, lighting improvements, and <br />roadway reconstruction. Additionally, due to <br />existing listed contaminated sites within the <br />proximity of the right of way improvements, <br />environmental coordination including <br />contaminated sites analysis and consideration <br />of the radius of influence was necessary for <br />coordinating dewatering operations.
