In his time at Douglas Wood Associates, Mr. Perez has worked on numerous <br />complex projects, including the award winning Soundscape and Exostage Park in <br />Miami Beach, the proposed sculpture-pavilion for Downtown Doral Park, and the Miami <br />Art Museum. <br /> <br />Mr. Perez has provided structural engineering services for numerous municipal, park <br />and recreation projects. These projects include Soundscape and Exostage Park in <br />Miami Beach, the proposed sculpture-pavilion in Downtown Doral Park, Lifeguard <br />Facility at Haulover Beach Park, Miami Art Museum, South Side School and Hardy <br />Park in Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Training Facility, Wynwood <br />Community Center and Historic Hampton House. <br /> <br />In his time at Douglas Wood Associates, Inc., Mr. Perez has worked on numerous <br />museum and cultural arts projects, including the foundation design for the proposed <br />Miami Art Museum, structural rehabilitation and flood proofing of portions of Vizcaya <br />Museum and Gardens, structural design and inspection of Colony Theater in Miami <br />Beach, and renovation to the Lehman Theater at Miami-Dade College. <br /> <br />Mr. Perez also excels in computer applications for structural engineering, and he is <br />expertly adept in the use of complex finite element analysis programs, such as <br />ET ABS and SAFE.
