Designs include Chiller Plants, Indoor Pool De-Humidification <br />Systems; IAQ Inspections, Constant and Variable Volume Air Conditioning <br />Systems; Industrial Ventilation; Life Cycle Cost Analysis; Chilled Water, DX <br />Systems; Smoke Control. <br /> <br />SElECTED PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />\ <br />J <br /> <br />Young Circle ArtsPark <br />Hollywood, Florida <br />JALRW provided HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical Engineering and <br />Lighting Design for the new Art Studios and Community Theater built on the <br />nearly twelve-acre Young Circle ArtsPark the heart of downtown Hollywood, <br />Florida which is a venue for art, education, recreation and entertainment. The <br />Studios and Community Theater or "black box" theater are used for meetings, <br />performances, banquets, and receptions. The gallery space is used for exhibiting <br />the latest trends in the visual arts. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />In addition to the above, provisions were made for a future amphitheater with <br />covered seating for several hundred patrons. The amphitheater will have state- <br />of-the-art sound, light, and projection systems for programs that will include <br />concerts, plays, dance performances, and films. Horacio was the Mechanical <br />Engineer for this project. Construction Cost: $14,000,000 <br /> <br />South Regional / Broward College Library <br />Pembroke Pines, Florida <br />JALRW provided HVAC and Electrical Engineering Design Services for this new <br />70,000 square foot regional library project on Broward Community College's <br />south campus. The library is provided with daylight controls and energy efficient <br />dimmable lighting, CO2 sensors, demand control ventilation, dedicated outside <br />air units with pre-treated outside air and heat pipe energy recovery. It is the first <br />LEED certified project for Broward County and has achieved a Silver rating from <br />the U.S. Green Building Council. Mr. Rodriguez was the Mechanical Engineer of <br />Record for this project.
