Lauderdale, Florida: Capital Projects Manager - City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL: <br />Key Construction Projects: <br />• $14m Parking Garage & Park <br />• $5.5m Ocean Fishing Pier <br />• $3.5m Intracoastal Bridge <br />Project Manager - City of Sunny Isles Beach: Heritage Park & Garage (May 2010 - <br />June 2011). Project is a 380 space, cast -in -place concrete garage with decorative metal <br />panel skin and accompanied by a 3 -acre City park. The Park amenities include a <br />performance stage, commemorative wall and fountain, an interactive water feature with <br />two children's playground areas, an observation Pavilion, an expansive lawn area and <br />lush landscaping. Work completed June 2011 at a cost of $14,000,000.00. <br />Project Manager - City of Sunny Isles Beach: Town Center Skatepark (June 2010 - <br />February 2011. Project is a 7500sf concrete park on a one -acre parcel of an existing <br />City park. This Design -Build project consisted of coordinating the design team and the <br />General Contractor to complete the cast -in -place complex concrete features <br />incorporated in the state -of- the -art facility designed for world -class skateboard <br />professionals. Challenges met include working a tight site with limited accessibility <br />while maintaining safe access to the existing facilities. Work completed on schedule in <br />February 2011 at a cost of $600,000.00. <br />Project Manager - City of Sunny Isles Beach: Newport Fishing Pier & Restaurant: <br />The City of Sunny Isles contracted CGA to provide engineering and government <br />consulting services for the Sunny Isles Beach Newport Fishing Pier project. The City <br />entered into a public - private partnership to restore the Newport Fishing Pier, which <br />was badly damaged during Hurricane Wilma in 2005. The Pier, which is the last <br />remaining public pier in Miami -Dade County, was built in 1936.The 800 pier was <br />t) <br />designated as a historic site in 1982. The project involves project management services <br />throughout the permitting, demolition and reconstruction phases of the project as well <br />as Prime consultant duties involving the retention and management of Special <br />_) <br />Inspectors, Geotechnical Engineer of Record and Materials Testing Services. The project <br />is set to be permitted by late October 2011 and will include a 105 -seat restaurant, 2nd <br />story lifeguard office and fishing stations.
