Project Development and Environment <br />(PD &E) studies and design work to replace the existing bascule bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway with <br />twin bascule structures. The project also included flyover structure at Hallandale Beach Boulevard (SR- <br />858) and Ocean Drive (SR -A1A) intersection, 1/2 -mile of roadway reconstruction and widening, lighting, <br />signalization, landscaping, permitting, utility coordination and ROW mapping for acquisition. Working in <br />the capacity of Project Manager for FDOT reporting to William Keating, P.E. (Retired) <br />Planning Study for SR -5 and FEC Grade Separation. This project evaluated the feasibility of constructing <br />an east -west grade separation over SR- 5 /US -1 and the FEC Railroad in Indian River County. Eight locations <br />within the county were evaluated for feasibility including benefit to cost analysis, environmental impacts <br />and socio- economic impacts.
