0-r/- ° '/ / <br /> lit <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br /> FRED SINGER DIRECTOR OF HISTORICAL FILM <br /> "FROM SANDBAR TO SOPHISTICATION" AGREEMENT <br /> CONTRACT NO: C0708-074 <br /> THIS CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the -Agreement") is made <br /> in duplicate, this�fla day of 4epla' 2008. by and between the City of Sunny Isles <br /> Beach, Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "'City"). and Fred Singer, (hereinafter referred to as <br /> "'Producer"), whose Federal I.D. is # <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the services of Producer to film the City's historical film <br /> production entitled"From Sandbar to Sophistication", and <br /> WHEREAS, the Producer has submitted a proposal to provide said services in an amount not to <br /> exceed Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($4,750.00) as more particularly described <br /> in the attached Exhibit"A", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, said film will provide a medium to inform residents and the general public about <br /> the City's rich and distinctive history and culture. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, as part of the consideration for this Agreement, the City and Performer <br /> hereby declare and agree to the following: <br /> 1. Recitals. The above recitals are incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. <br /> 2. Term. The term of this Agreement shall begin upon execution date of this Agreement <br /> and shall terminate upon completion of the Performer's services. <br /> 3. Services. The Producer shall produce the City's historical film entitled ""From Sandbar to <br /> Sophistication", as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit"A <br /> 4, Compensation. As the entire compensation under this Agreement and during the term of <br /> this Agreement, in whatever capacity rendered. the City shall pay Producer a total fee of Four <br /> Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($4,750.00). to be paid in two (2) increments as follows: <br /> (1) Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Fifty Dollars ($2,375.00) upon execution of this <br /> Agreement by both parties and presentation of an invoice for 50% of the total contract amount <br /> (i.e. $2,375.00); and (2) Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Fifty Dollars ($2.375.00) upon <br /> completion of services, acceptance by the City, and presentation of an invoice for 50% of the <br /> remaining contract amount (i.e. $2,375.00). If the City disputes any charges on the invoices, it <br /> may make payment of the uncontested amount and withhold payment on the contested amounts <br /> until they are resolved by Agreement between the parties. <br /> 1 <br /> C0708-074 Fred Singer Agreement for Historical Film <br /> til/a <br />
