RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />PROJECT NAME: FEMA /DORM <br />CLIENT'S NAME: Miami -Dade County <br />DERM <br />Mr. Dorian Valdes <br />TYPE OF FACILITY FEMA /DORM Project <br />OR SERVICES: Master Consultant <br />SRS PROJECT FEE: $4,500,000 <br />COMPLETION DATE: December 2005 <br />KEY INDIVIDUALS Ignacio Serralta, P.E. <br />INVOLVED: Oliverio Sanchez, P.E. <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />SRS has performed as a Master Consultant for <br />this FEMA /DORM program since November of <br />2001. The FEMA /DORM project is a jointly funded <br />effort supported by the Federal Government, <br />State of Florida, and Miami -Dade County intended <br />to mitigate problems that arose as a result of <br />Hurricane Irene (October 1999) and the "No <br />Name Storm" (October 2000). As a Master <br />Consultant we are responsible for the <br />coordination of approximately twelve (12) <br />engineering design consultants, eight (8) <br />geotechnical firms and nine (9) land surveying <br />firms involved in the design of approximately four <br />hundred ninety (490) mitigation projects. These <br />projects range from drainage improvements to <br />total roadway reconstruction, canal dredging, <br />culvert cleaning, and canal bank restoration. <br />Additionally, we oversee the construction efforts <br />of nine (9) contractors performing work with an <br />estimated construction value of $35,000,000.00. <br />Finally we are responsible for all document control <br />related to these projects, approval of payment for <br />design, survey, geotechnical reports, and <br />construction in accordance with FEMA required <br />guidelines. <br />IJ� <br />BERM <br />L� <br />EN[i1NEERINO,INC. <br />
