Proposed Approach <br />& Methodology <br />SRS Engineering, Inc. shall be the responsible for the overall coordination and management of <br />the project. SRS will coordinate the work of our subconsultants and oversee and review their <br />work products. SRS will be the design firm, responsible for the project management and design <br />of project and the preparation of all the construction documents and support services. SRS will <br />also be providing construction phase services including periodic site inspections and document <br />control. <br />Our Team will be led by Mr. Ignacio Serralta, P.E., who will serve as Principal -In- Charge. Mr. <br />Serralta will be personally overseeing the management of the project and coordinating between <br />the City and the SRS Team. Mr. Serralta will be your key point of contact and seeing that City's <br />requirements are met is his main responsibility. <br />Our Senior Project Manager will be Mr. Oliverio Sanchez, P.E. He will be in charge of the day <br />to day management of the project including overseeing all design and construction phase <br />services, reviewing quality control and quality assurance, project scheduling and costs, and <br />preparation of all work products. Mr. Sanchez will be assisted and supported by Mr. Jean - <br />Claude Fontaneau, our Senior Project Engineer. Mr. Fontaneau is primarily responsible for the <br />engineering design and preparation of all construction documents. <br />F.R. Aleman and Associates will provide all surveying and mapping services including all <br />topographical survey and preparation of easements, as required. Mr. Fernando Gatell, PSM will <br />be in charge of all surveying services. <br />PSI will provide all geotechnical engineering and testing services including percolation tests and <br />soil boring as required for design. PSI is headed by Mr. Juan Villegas, P.E. who will be <br />responsible for overseeing all work products prepared the firm. <br />SRS is very familiar with the design of drainage systems in Miami -Dade County. We have <br />design improvement projects for several local municipalities, Miami -Dade County, and over 550 - <br />acres of private developments. We have design large gravity storm drains, drainage pump <br />stations, canals, lakes, exfiltration trench systems, drainage wells, and retention /detention <br />basins and wetlands. <br />Among our most recent drainage systems design experience includes Friedland Manor <br />Drainage Systems Improvements and Retention Area, NW 138`h Street Roadway Improvement <br />project including the new canal, and the reconstruction of over 26 miles of existing roadways, <br />including the preparation of designs for the construction of drainage improvements associated <br />with the roadway reconstruction. <br />Additionally, as part of the DORM project SRS served as a Master Consultant. The <br />FEMA/DORM project was a jointly funded effort supported by the Federal Government, State of <br />Florida, and Miami -Dade County intended to mitigate problems that arose as a result of <br />Hurricane Irene (October 1999) and the "No Name Storm" (October 2000).
