<br />Mr. Escott has 19 years of experience in electrical engineering which includes project
<br />management, permitting, job costing, major purchases/subcontracts, submittals,
<br />scheduling, manpower loading, field coordination, change order estimating, technical
<br />assistance to field personnel, and project closeouts. Mr. Escott is skilled in the design
<br />of electrical systems including: power distribution, lighting, auxiliary generators, fire
<br />alarm, systems and audio. Mr. Escott has extensive experience with electrical
<br />renovations, alterations and additions for existing facilities. Areas of expertise include
<br />project design, lighting design, power system design, riser diagrams, panel
<br />schedules, design and implement information systems, supply planning, EMF
<br />analysis, surge arrester protection, and distribution operations.
<br />Mr. Escott is skilled in the design of electrical systems including, but not limited to,
<br />uninterruptible power systems (UPS), fire alarm and detection systems, medium and
<br />low voltage AC power systems, Electronic Security Systems (ESS), , computer power
<br />conditioning, grounding, lightning protection, lighting control systems, emergency
<br />power, hazardous area electrical installations, control and monitoring systems, cable
<br />tray systems, communications raceway systems, and communications premise
<br />wiring.
<br />Mr. Escott will coordinate all electrical design requirements with design team and
<br />end-user personnel to insure all systems meet the standards and requirements of the
<br />specific facility.
<br />Project Experience
<br />2012, Flagler County Courthouse Annex Sherriff’s Department Renovations
<br />and Energy Efficient Upgrades, Bunnell, FL – Mr. Escott is an Electrical Engineer
<br />on the renovations to accommodate the needs of the sheriff’s operations.
<br />Renovations include the following: Add fire sprinkler system, replacement of the main
<br />fire alarm panel, repair exterior windows, confirm fire rated separation between
<br />Historic Courthouse and Annex, replace A/C ductwork, VAV units and controls,
<br />provide a ducted return system, test and balance the new system, replace all lighting
<br />with energy efficient fixtures and lighting controls, replace electrical power distribution
<br />system, new communications data and technologies equipment, renovate all
<br />restrooms to ADA standards, replace all suspended acoustical ceilings and grid with
<br />new efficient acoustic values, replace all water heaters with energy efficient units.
<br />2011, Town of Palm Beach Street, Street Lighting, Town of Palm Beach, FL –
<br />Mr. Escott is an Electrical Engineer for this project. SGM was responsible for the
<br />replacement and relocation of 46 street light that currently serve Dunbar Rd. to
<br />Sunrise Ave. SGM coordinated with their facilities maintenance staff to understand
<br />their needs, standards, determine a realistic schedule for the design/engineering
<br />effort, meeting notes, probable construction cost estimate and finally obtained
<br />technical cut sheets of equipment desired such that aesthetic uniformity was
<br />achieved in the type of light pole/fixture installed. SGM engineers visited the various
<br />project locations to obtain existing data related to pole locations and sidewalk
<br />conditions. This effort will also constitute SGM to provide full Construction
<br />Administration services for the one and one-half months construction (1.5 months)
<br />schedule desired by the Town of Palm Beach. Upon completion of the construction,
<br />SGM is responsible for implementing the As-Built drawings and delivering the record
<br />set to the Town as a CD and a hard copy 11x17 set of documents.
<br />2010 Orange County Fire & Rescue, Fire Station #35, Orlando, FL – Mr. Escott
<br />was an Electrical Engineer and Commissioning Agent on this project. SGM
<br />developed the owners OPR documents, reviewed drawings during construction,
<br />developed the commissioning plan, attended construction meetings, witnessed
<br />equipment start up, performed functional performance tests on the equipment and
<br />provided Test & Balance services. Commissioning procedures were performed
<br />following the ACG guidelines and the requirements of LEED.
