f�r <br />C) <br />�j <br />a <br />Professional Experience: <br />Mrs. Weidener is a member of the firm's <br />Board of Directors and is responsible for <br />leadership and management of the <br />survey activities in the firm's Doral <br />Office. As such, she has structured the <br />Office to provide professional surveying <br />services in public works activities such as <br />highways, rail transportation, water <br />supply, sanitary sewers, wastewater <br />treatment, airports, landfills, schools, <br />parks, and construction. <br />MILLER 'v`' LEGG <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Page 29`' <br />Margarita Weidener, PSM <br />Senior Project Surveyor- <br />Mrs. Weidener has directed surveys for <br />the Department of the Navy, the Florida <br />Department of Environmental <br />Protection, Florida Department of <br />Transportation, Miami -Dade County, <br />Broward County, City of Miami, Miami - <br />Dade County Public Schools, and many <br />others. <br />Prior to joining Miller Legg, Mrs. <br />Weidener was President of Weidener <br />Surveying and Mapping, P.A., a <br />professional services firm based in Miami <br />with multiple offices throughout Florida. <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br />City of Miami Bicentennial <br />Park/Museum Park - The Park, part of <br />the existing Bicentennial Park, will be the <br />home to the Miami Art Museum (MAM) <br />and the Miami Science Museum (MSM). <br />Miller Legg provided the underlying <br />survey and the platting of Bicentennial <br />Park in 1986 and the firm has completed <br />several adjoining projects as well. For <br />the Museum Park, the firm has provided <br />surveying and mapping of a new access <br />road for the City and boundary and <br />topographic surveys for both the IMAM <br />and the MSM leading to the <br />redevelopment of the north end of <br />Bicentennial Park. The work includes <br />the Miami MetroMover station which <br />will be integrated into the Museum Park. <br />Jose Marti Park - Construction Layout <br />Services were provided for the <br />construction of a uniquely designed <br />gymnasium at the Jose Marti Park. <br />Services included layout of the building <br />lines, column lines and important <br />features. A final survey of the park was <br />also completed. The gymnasium building <br />was designed with many oblique angles <br />and innovative structural features, this <br />required extensive verification and <br />unique solutions to provide the control <br />necessary to construct a most unusual <br />building. Miller Legg was a subconsultant <br />to Pirtle Construction Company. <br />Lumus Park - Boundary and <br />topographic surveys were provided of <br />the 1.58 acre park site for the purpose <br />of designing a Police Equestrian Center. <br />Location of all visible improvements and <br />natural features were included including <br />pavement, pavement stripping, driveways <br />(with type of materials), sidewalks, curbs, <br />mailboxes, fences, trees (including <br />species, diameter and canopy), signs, <br />buildings, structures, fixed outdoor <br />seating and any other above ground <br />features. All visible above ground <br />utilities were located including catch <br />basins, manholes and valve boxes with <br />Invert elevations. The park had been <br />previously surveyed by the firm for the <br />City of Miami four years ago. <br />Bailes Road Park - Miller Legg <br />provided a survey of Bailes Road Park to <br />the Park and Recreation Department <br />under our continuing surveying contract <br />with Miami -Dade County. The site may <br />be generally described as rural, <br />comprising approximately 10 acres. <br />Miller Legg provided a boundary and <br />topographic survey and prepared a <br />waiver of plat in order to divide the <br />parcel into two tracts bisected by Bailes <br />Road. <br />Coral Gables Waterway Phases I & <br />2 Surveying and Photogrammetric <br />Services - This extensive project was <br />completed in two phases: The first was <br />a 10,000 LF survey of the waterway <br />between South Florida Water <br />Management District Control Structure <br />G -93 @ SW 57 Avenue and Blue Road. <br />It included mapping of the property lines, <br />establishment of a control baseline, <br />planimetric mapping, cross sectioning <br />and specific topographic surveys. Phase <br />2 of the survey included 28,910 LF of <br />canal profiles on other reaches of the <br />Waterway, for planning studies. <br />Extensive liaison was necessary with the <br />public as the waterway winds itself <br />through many properties and backyards. <br />Photogrammetry was provided by a <br />subconsultant. <br />ARCHITECTURE <br />ENGINEERING <br />PLANNING <br />INTERIOR DESIGN �� <br />
