Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF BID. <br />Carr OF SUN P, <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City's a municipality located in Miami -Dade County, <br />Florida, seeks to solicit proposals for the qualifications and selection of individual professionals to <br />provide Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil / Environmental Engineering, Planning & <br />Urban Design, Traffic Engineering & Transportation Consulting professional services.. <br />2.2 PRE -BID CONFERENCE (NON- MANDATORY) <br />Intentionally Omitted <br />2.3 TERM <br />This contract will commence on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval <br />of the contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise stipulated in the <br />Notice of Award letter, which is distributed by the City's Purchasing Agent; and <br />contingent upon the completion and submittal of all required bid documents. This <br />contract shall remain in effect for five (5) years; provided that the services rendered by <br />the Consultant during the contract period are satisfactory and that City funding is <br />available as appropriated on an annual basis. However in the event funding is not <br />appropriated on an annual basis during any particular year within the five year term, then <br />the contract may be canceled upon thirty (30) days written notice to the firm.
