He has collected measurements for roadway features based in the FDOT <br />latest RCI manual (i.e. lane widths, medians, sidewalk, and shoulders.) He has experience with data <br />input to the FDOT mainframe. Mr. Hernandez has designed a Miami -Dade intersection improvement <br />and a school zone, including signal systems, using Micro Station XM, AutoCAD and Geopack. He <br />elaborates maps using GIS files for data collection purpose in several projects. His experience in web <br />design and Photoshop renders for FDOT proposals presentation and projects. <br />Franklin Hernandez <br />Senior Engineering Technician <br />Education /Training: <br />Bachelor of Science in Communications, Marta Abreu, 2003 <br />� Professional Experience: Mr. Hernandez was able to become acquainted <br />with the streets network within South Florida. He performed Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) <br />to collect physical roadway features for HPMS (sample segments) and facilities; installed video <br />cameras to record vehicles at an intersection; calibrated Peek traffic counters; performed several <br />routine programming for the peek counters with various codes to collect traffic data. <br />13 1 Page <br />
