City of Sunny Isles Beach Construction Management Services <br />For Gateway Park - RFQ No. 12 -06 -01 <br />3. STAFFING <br />Relevant Experience of Key Personnel <br />URS will bring to the Gateway Park Project a <br />seasoned set of professionals with specific <br />experience in the construction of parking garages <br />and parks. Steve Baumal, who will manage the <br />project, has extensive experience working as a <br />construction manager /owners representative for <br />various levels of government entities, on a variety <br />of projects such as small parks and surface <br />parking lots, multi -level garages, and major <br />complex facilities. He brings an understanding of <br />the small details that go into making a project a <br />success, and has the ability to maintain a view of <br />the big picture. <br />All proposed Team members have excellent <br />communication skills and work well with other <br />professionals, which will help to avoid disputes and <br />which will also bring a non - confrontational <br />approach. This will result in a productive <br />environment conducive to a successful project <br />completion. <br />Size and Experience of URS Staff Pool <br />URS employs approximately 56,000 people <br />worldwide. The resumes included within this <br />submittal are for the URS staff we have identified <br />as experts in the services identified in the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach Request for Qualifications <br />document, and who are available immediately. <br />Our offices in other nearby cities can provide <br />additional resources if needed, including many <br />types of specialty services (please see the graphic <br />at the end of this section page). With a base of <br />over 800 professionals in Florida, we can respond <br />quickly with personnel to suit your needs. <br />Our approach to this project is to provide a highly <br />experienced, yet cost - effective and flexible team. <br />Because of the depth and breadth of resources <br />available to us, we can provide staff as- needed, in a <br />variety of disciplines.
