This proposal item is to include the supplying of all necessary materials, supplies, labor, <br />equipment, fuel, and other miscellaneous necessities to appropriately cover over or <br />remove, as directed by the City, any graffiti. This proposal item is intended to include all <br />work, including any needed repairs required to allow the graffiti to be addressed. All <br />work must begin within eight hours of being notified by the City, and the work must <br />proceed continuously and expeditiously until the job is completed. The Proposers is <br />responsible for immediately notifying the City of any graffiti found during the regular <br />servicing and inspection of the City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all <br />appropriate traffic control devices that conform to an approved Maintenance of Traffic <br />(MOT) plan. All traffic control costs shall be a part of the unit price proposal and shall <br />not be paid for separately. <br />K13. This proposal item is to include the supplying of all necessary materials, supplies, labor, <br />equipment, fuel, and other miscellaneous necessities to appropriately level the fields with <br />sand. This application must conform with strict industry standards and the utmost care <br />must be provided by the vendor to protect visitors and residents during the application. <br />This item must be coordinated and approved by the City in a manner acceptable to the <br />City. It will be required that at least one application by provided when the fields are <br />sliced as per specifications. <br />3,13 L. GENERAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />L1. Accompanying these specifications is a list defining areas to be maintained. By submitting <br />a proposal, the proposers certifies that he /she is familiar with the sites and the proposed <br />scope of work, prior to submitting a proposal. The City reserves the right to remove <br />specific locations on a temporary or permanent basis, as deemed appropriate. <br />L2. All equipment shall be maintained in an efficient and safe operating condition while <br />performing work under the contract. Equipment shall have all proper safety devices <br />required by law, properly maintained, and in use at all times. If equipment does not <br />contain proper safety devices and /or is being operated in an unsafe manner, the City <br />may direct the Contractor to remove such equipment and /or the operator until the <br />deficiency is corrected to the satisfaction of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The <br />Contractor shall be solely responsible and liable for injury to persons, and /or property <br />damage caused by operation of the equipment. All equipment will be inspected and <br />evaluated by the City of Sunny Isles Beach, prior to award of this proposal. The <br />following equipment shall be located at the storage satellite facility in the event of <br />emergencies and be available to the City within the required time frames: <br />• FDOT compliant arrow board and 75 FDOT compliant traffic cones. <br />• Backhoe -front end loader <br />• Twenty cubic yard dump truck <br />• Hydraulic 65 foot bucket truck <br />The City, at its sole discretion, may require that any of the special equipment be located <br />in the satellite storage site as specified herein. <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Proposal No. 12 -05 -01 �� <br />
