CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH 18070 Collins Avenue Sunny t ies.Beach, Florida 33160 I sup'" 305.947 0606 0` •';‘k, 's. orSUµP� F �' " .s' x s �'S.t y� r Section 3 Scope of Services / Technical Specifications 3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase of food and beverages catering services for the City's anniversary party.The vendor will be responsible for supplying all food and beverages, including, but not limited to, all food area needs (ice, condiments, tables for prepping and serving, storage, garbage management) all cooking supplies, grills, cookers, chaffing dishes, pans), all serving supplies (Forks, knifes, spoons, plates, cups, gloves, napkins) and all labor services, including staff. 3.2 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -The following minimum requirements will be considered in the review of each bidder's responsiveness. Failure to meet or exceed minimum requirements will disqualify bidder from consideration. 1.Similar Experience.The proposer must be regularly engaged in food service including, but not limited to restaurants, catering companies, or other similar food industry businesses. Proposer shall demonstrate previous experience in regards to the requirements of this solicitation for a period of no less than five (5) years. 2. Proposer's References. Bidders are to include a minimum of three (3) references from contractors or projects the Bidder considers of a similar, size, scope and complexity. The attached form found in Section 6 is to be used and included with the Bid submission. 3. State and Local Health Requirements.All Caterers' employees engaged in the preparing, handling, serving and storing of food, must meet and maintain State and Local Health Department requirements, including certification(s) to serve food to the public at temporary events.The Caterer shall sell only foods that comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, acts, orders, or regulations including, without limitation on the generality of the foregoing, the applicable sections of the following laws, acts and regulations: i.The Food and Drug Act ii. Applicable Meat Inspection Regulations iii.The Humane Slaughter of Animals Act and Humane Slaughter Regulations iv. The Official Methods of Analysis and Association of Official Analytical Chemist v.The Federal Department of Agriculture-Products Regulations vi.The Fish Inspection Act and Regulations vii.
