FlUFLORIDA Biscayne Bay Campus <br />INTERNATIONAL <br />U NIVERSITY Office of the Vice Provost <br />The Prestige Cultural Series <br />Featuring Florida International University's <br />School of Music <br />In partnership with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Lexus of North Miami, Bal Harbour Village, the Town of <br />Golden Beach, area businesses, and individual sponsors, we present the following series of events to engage our <br />community in outstanding cultural experiences in the educational setting of the Biscayne Bay Campus. <br />The Prestige Cultural Series will include four events: 1) An Opera Matinee 2) Musical Theater Scenes 3) Piano <br />Concert with Students and Alumni and 4) A Gourmet Wine and Food Pairing Luncheon with FIU's Graduate <br />String Quartet. All performances will feature the artistry of students from FIU's School of Music. Tickets to all <br />events will be available to the public. <br />We continue to offer quality public education to over 8,000 students, many who live within a 25 mile radius of <br />the campus. We also have many other amenities available to our community neighbors — an extensive research <br />library, recreation by the bay, lifelong learning classes, beautiful bike paths, and engaging lectures and speakers. <br />We, therefore, respectfully request $5000 as a donation to support this initiative on the Biscayne Bay Campus <br />of Florida International University. Together we will provide a much needed service to our communities — <br />quality cultural activities and experiences at an affordable price.
