Locations #10 and 11) Collins Ave Haulover Park- Northbound and Southbound
Iron Sky will install four (4) LPR cameras on a new pole to be installed by the City of Sunny Isles
Beach in the median behind the existing 'Welcome to Sunny Isles Beach' sign. Two cameras
will capture the two southbound lanes and two cameras will capture northbound lanes. A
roadside server will be installed in this location which will process the LPR data. A cellular
modem to be provided by the City will provide connectivity to the rest of the LPR system. This
is the only location that will require a cellular modem.
If it is not feasible to install a pole in the median, an alternative location would be to install one
pole on each side of the roadway.
Below is the overview image of the equipment location:
c• o•
1 .I ! .
I
r 1
g{ I, 1
c11 Collins Ave @Haulover Southbour,,l N,,, H.,, .,,
4
R
• i
I'I '
{
i
IIIIron Sky Response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach Request For Proposal#12-09-01
Section 4 Page 41
