Chief Information Officer June Randall, of our Administration and <br /> Technology Division (ATD), has been assigned to research the concerns. She has subsequently <br /> been in contact with you; Mr. Josh Mann, of Aware Digital; and Mr. Robert Williams, of the <br /> Public Works and.Waste Management Department,regarding your request for assistance. <br /> e <br /> As a result of Chief Randall's research and clarifying discussions with all parties,Mr.Mann will be <br /> resubmitting the plan to Mr. Williams. The plan will be prepared in accordance with a letter <br /> communicating the Miami-Dade County policies for installing cameras and associated equipment in <br /> L <br /> ` the public right-of-ways that was sent on December 2,2008,to Ms. Yvonne Soler-McKinley,City <br /> of Doral Manager from Mr. Williams. We also have been informed by Chief Randall that a <br /> t meeting is scheduled to occur between you, representatives from Aware Digital, and County <br /> a Engineer Esther Callas, to address permitting requirements. It appears that these two actions will <br /> facilitate forward progress of your project. Please know that Chief Randall will assist wherever <br /> c possible if additional issues arise. <br /> t <br /> Additionally, the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) appreciates the offer from you to <br /> participate with the City of Doral Police Department as part of a community of interest committee <br /> on LPR usage, best practices, policy, and standard operating procedures. As you envisioned, <br /> collaboration will be mutually beneficial regarding how best to share video and LPR infrastructure <br /> W and information.
